Robert W. Sinibaldi is a former president of the Tampa Bay Fossil Club and is currently a member of its board of directors. He is author of Fossil Diving: In Florida's Waters or any other Waters Containing Prehistoric Treasures and The Handbook of Paleontological Terms.

Explaining the subtle details and more, and outlined with an abundance of black and white photographs and charts, "What Your Fossils Can Tell You" is a fine text for both would be professionals and enthusiastic non-specialist general readers.

IMPORTANT BOOK FOR ANYONE WITH A FOSSIL

Dr. Robert Sinibaldi's book is very well written, well documented, and provides information which I have not seen provided in any other publication. I have purchased a number of copies for friends and others who are rockhounds, paleontologists, geologists, archeologists and others.
I recommend this book for anyone who has collected a fossil and wants to understand anything about it and especially anything unusual about it. Things like abnormalities, possibly human modifications and use, what type of fossil it may be, will all want to own this book. Dr. Sinibaldi has been on the Board of Directors of the Proctor Museum of Natural Science (Houston's FREE natural science museum) for a number of years. I have dug with him, and he certainly knows his material.
